People often write me asking about clinical trials, the testing grounds for new treatments. They’ll have read about a discovery and want to know if it’s made its way into human testing. A lot of the time, unfortunately, that isn’t the case, because of the slow and methodical nature of medical research. But, thanks to the National Institutes of Health, it’s remarkable easy to track every clinical trial in the U.S. This site is searchable by both condition and location, and it’s an excellent way for folks considering a clinical trial to survey all their options.
Also, if you’re interested in clinical trials at UVA, you can find them all here.
